sbach2o -> 1.5.0.2 beta: Game Editor Exception (Planet & Moons dialog) (1/19/2011 7:45:53 AM)
|
When editing planets with certain Ancient Ruins special ('Super Weapon' and 'Special Equipment' specials), an exception is thrown when I try to leave the Planets and Moons dialog: ************** Exception Text ************** System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at DistantWorlds.Controls.SpecialRuin.GetRuin() at DistantWorlds.Main.vDv62UvPwy() at DistantWorlds.Main.LyS6675fig() at DistantWorlds.Main.Soc8MaD7fK(Object , MouseEventArgs ) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.OnMouseClick(MouseEventArgs e) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WmMouseUp(Message& m, MouseButtons button, Int32 clicks) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.ScrollableControl.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.OnMessage(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.Control.ControlNativeWindow.WndProc(Message& m) at System.Windows.Forms.NativeWindow.Callback(IntPtr hWnd, Int32 msg, IntPtr wparam, IntPtr lparam) ******************************************* I have uploaded a save game 'sbach2o-GameEditorException' to your FTP site illustrating the problem. More information can be found in the included README.txt The exception prohibits the Planets and Moons editor dialog from being closed. It seems to affect all planets with Ancient Ruins having the 'Super Weapon' special, so the problem may be reproducible without resorting to my save game. In my case those ruins were already explored, though. Oh, and the game was created with version 1.5.0.0
