In the UI right now left clicking brings up the base information and right clicking centers the map. What if right clicking also brought up a text box for notes with a save and delete button or something. That way you could leave yourself notes like "waiting on strat move of xx from xx to relieve yy from garrison", or stuff like that. Currently I don't have a good way to leave myself notes and leaving stickies on my screen is getting messy.

There could also be an icon on the main map if there is a note...

What do yall think? I believe it would make it a lot easier for new players and old players alike!

Thumbs up from me - I especially like the idea of attaching a note to a specific hex.

That would save a lot of 'oops' sounds from eminating from my den.

Would be a very handy addition, indeed.  But, there is no possible way to add it to the existing game.  Something like this would likely be high on the additions list for the fabled WitP 2.  [;)]

why could this not be in the current game? There is already a command for right clicking so you just have to add functionality to the already recognized key, there is already a method for display boxes, there is already a method to display icons, there would have to be a string added to the hex database...

Is the code just not very agreeable to such additions?
