BillLottJr -> Event Editor Help (2/6/2011 11:58:41 AM)

Hello All,
I'm trying to have a theater option be available from turn 1 & for it to be canceled on turn 5. I have an event on turn 5 that I thought would cancel the TO, but the TO remains available past turn 5. Here's what I have...
.
Event: 638, United States theater option is available:
United States declares Washington, DC an open city (details|event|639)
.
.
Event: 639, If this event is activated
Washington Garrison destroys heavy weapons & evacuates
All units matching Ft Snyder, DC Garrison (United States) are withdrawn ==>
Event: 640, If this event is activated
Civilians flee Washington
United States suffers refugee effects at 198,89 within a radius of 6 hexes
Event: 641, If this event is activated
debug cancel negro volunteers
Cancel event 196|event|196, Negro Volunteers join fight for Washington, DC
Event: 642, If this event is activated
debug cancel negro volunteers
Cancel event 197|event|197,
Event: 643, If this event is activated
debug DC garison reforms as 14NG Div (delay range 7 to 13)
Units|unitevent|643 are deployed by event 643
.
.
Turn 5 (August 13th, 1964):
Event: 747,
Cancel event 638|event|638, United States declares Washington, DC an open city
.
Any help would be appreciated.[sm=Christo_pull_hair.gif][sm=Christo_pull_hair.gif]

To remove a Theater Option you must make an identical Theater Option event with the target event being 999 or 1000. See the example attached. Event 1 puts the TO on the list. Event 3 removes it.

Well, considering that I'm one of Bill's playtesters.........something about getting the suker DONE comes to mind, LOL!

His scenario is just fkn beautiful, and I'd really like to see it done for 3.4.0.201, eh?

Your all in for a beautiful time when this launches, and that's no lie!
