It might just be something that is common knowledge and I missed, but I just stumbled on something interesting when researching air group resizing for the wiki. It seems that a player can decide himself on the size of his carrier air groups. To do so, make sure "resize to fit ship" is showing, then turn it off and on again. You should now get a text box asking you for the new size of the airgroup, with a maximum of the carriers max capacity. This does not work for American carrier squadrons early game, as they still have a resize defined, but I managed to do this for units on British carriers and float plane squadrons. Interesting if you want to try some new loadouts on you carriers, with little TB and lots of DB, or the other way around.
