Ligny -> Buttons disappearing (2/10/2011 5:45:25 PM)

Suddenly when trying to load a pbem-file almost all of the buttons in the upper row disappeared. The only buttons left are the button for loading pbemfile and two others. It is the same in all three pbem-games I am playing. It is not possible to load any pbem-files eitehr.

Anyone know what to do or why it is this way?

Thanks,
Ligny

Did a reboot not work?

Ligny -> RE: Buttons disappearing (2/12/2011 11:38:42 PM)

No, unfortunately not. I guess a reinstall is the only option?

I can't say I know. Perhaps Marshall can shed some light.

If you do re-install remember to go through all the patches (1.00=>1.05.03=>1.06.03=>1.07.02=>1.08.04)

I'm pretty sure there is a thread on this already, it's a very old issue. I can't remember what the fix was/is though.

This is a new one??? I don't remember this issue ... can you post a screen print?
We did have an earlier issue which was a problem with fonts but that would be fixed with a reboot!

Did you follow the upgrade procedures in place?

Install 1.00
Upgrade to 1.06.03
Upgrade to 1.07.02
Upgrade to 1.08.04

I believe I have upgraded every time and in that order, whatever I reinstalled the 1.08 patch and everything works fine now.

Thanks anyway...

Marshall, this happened to me (which I remember telling you about) a long time ago.
