Distant worlds is no longer functioning correctly Windows will attempt to find what was wrong....Distant Words is closing now contact the mfg as windows could not find the problem. Back to desktop game over.

When this happened I was using the zoom-in zoom-out function of my mouse. I had just got past the page with all that mumbo jumbo about this mysterious race now in our universe.

Autosave every 30 minutes I think had just completed so I might have a save before this happened.

OS:Vista/64bit svc pak 2

i7 920 quad core 64bit cpu Intel

ATI Raedon 5770 HD 1gb ram

6gb 1600mhz Crucial Memory 9-9-9-24 latency

This seems to be an issue with every Matrixgame I buy in the past 2 years and I have a lot of games 100's and it's just these that I always have issues with.

Hey I'm tryin to play this stupid game PAL so PFFFUP. The game crashes. Right now it's a PITA. If you have nothing to offer for help then leave cause all you are doing now is trolling.

I doubt that someone with 1000 posts in these forums is a troll. I'm having problems with this game crashing too. It's incredibly, incredibly frustrating. Don't come in here and tell me to play X3 instead.

Sorry to hear about your crash diablo1. Unfortunately the error message doesn't give me much to go on. If you have the previous savegame to upload, I could take a look at it.

However a number of crashes in 1.5.0.4 has been fixed in version 1.5.0.5, which is due out soon. Give that version a try when it becomes available.

Does DW create minidump files?

Does DW create minidump files?

No minidumps in DW Kayoz. We keep it simple and just rely on the error messages and savegames. We find that's usually enough to locate problems.
