It's actually pretty good and they claim it is not really Beta anymore, but they are still running Beta.

If you're into Sci Fi, space flying games.

BattleStar Galactica - not bad for a free browser game. I'm pretty damned picky, too. PvP and PvE. There's currently no penalty if you are killed from what I can see. I was a littler annoyed when I was killed by another player, but I guess it wasn't too bad. I didn't lose anything, I think.

Very cool. I just started. I think I'm going to like this one.

Yep, I've been messing around with this a bit lately, too. Solid web game (Unity 3D is sweet), but I haven't played long enough yet to know what sort of longetivity it might have.

I stopped playing that and started playing World of Tanks which is a lot more in depth than I thought it would be so that's why it took me so long to try it.

What do you do in the game? Just kill stuff?

This is the battlestar galactica I would like to play:

I suppose so. It's still in Beta so maybe they'll add stuff.

There are missions you can take from either side, or you can just fly around and see what you encounter. Finding resources for your fleet scores you experience, as does combat and a few other things. XP can be converted in to character bonuses. you can also gather up resources and trade those for credits or Tylium...both can be spent on upgrading/repairing your ship, and Tylium is needed to jump between sectors. You'll get constant updates on where heavy fighting is going on, so if you can get in there, you have a better chance of getting some kills...or dying in a ball of flame.

It's pretty much like World of Tanks in space, only with some semblance of a mission structure. Just like WoT you can spend money if you want to.
