I have recently acquired the WITPAE.

I have been trying to tweak the database to my liking and mostly have been successful. I have however a question or two about aircraft loadouts...

Can mines be deployed by aircraft?

Can aircraft use depth charges when attacking subs?


If I mount a mortar to a bomber will it shoot and damage ground units?


Please give link if those questions have already been answered somewhere.

Yes, mines can be dropped by aircraft. For the Allies it is the MK13 which starts to arrive around 1/43. Pretty much any medium or heavy bomber can drop them. You drop them by selecting "city attack" and you can mine any enemy base with at least a level one port.

Aircraft only bomb, they do not drop DC. I suppose it is an abstraction.

As for the mortar, I doubt it....
