ADB123 -> Unplanned LBA Upgrade and Replacements (2/19/2011 1:31:28 AM)

I went into shock this turn as I went over my units because dozens of my LBA squadrons had suddenly upgraded or added planes. And I always keep Upgrade and Replacements set to "Off" for all of my air units. When I looked at my LBA list all of the squadrons were set to Upgrade and Replacements "On".

I checked my ship-based planes and fortunately they were still set to "Off".

I went back and checked the turn that I sent to my opponent and all of the LBA squadrons were set to "Off" in the last version I saved before I saved the final one to send to him.

This is a real pain because I didn't want those squadrons to get upgrades or replacements. It's not fatal, but it will take me some time to recover from this.

And worse, because I don't know why it happened I can't be certain that it won't happen again.

I have the before and after saves if they can be of use.

I've asked my opponent if he did anything that might have caused this.

We are running the last full release, without the database upgrades.

Zip and attach the save you sent

Michael -

Here is the zip of the file that I sent. Since it is the final save I can't send you the password if you need it - you would need to contact my opponent.

Thanks -

Looking at the save, all the Allied land groups do have upgrade and replacements ON.
You must have inadverdently turned them on before you sent the file.

Hmmm - I wonder when I did that? I must have gone over to the wrong column while doing my usual re-check.

Oh well, I'll just have to be more careful about pushing buttons from now on.

Thanks for all your help, and your fast response!
