Last night I ws playing as the Allies in one of the hypothetical "no Midway" scens. I put together two invasion fleets and sent one to Lunga and one to Tulagi. Settings on both TFs were the same.

After the second turn after the invasion started I saw a message to the effect "can't unload in an unfriendly hex" or something like that.

Next turn I noticed that the Tulagi TF had bolted for home with the majority of troops and all of the supplies still on board. The Lunga TF was still unloading.

Just now I saw the exact same thing happen to the AI (Allied) trying to land troops at Lunga. I made short work of the few troops the AI managed to land and my troops are enjoying the American smokes they captured.

Well not short work actually. I engaged them and they teleported to Tassafronga. Took 3 days for my troops to march the same distance and deal with them.

Thanks for the report. This is a rare occurrence and while in some cases Transport TFs should abort, in other cases it was happening apparently without reason. As far as I know, the next patch should address this.

Excellent! I've seen this myself several times, and originally thought it was because I had a TK in the mix (which I stopped doing for invasion TFs). But, I still see it.
