So, let's just say I have a Carrier fleet near Rebaul supporting amphibious landing on naval search with lots of naval bombers ready to strike and I have a Battlefleet on level 6 Reaction patroling around Rebaul.
We have a small Allied cruiser TF at Rebaul.
Someone please tell me why my Battlefleet does not engage the fleet and my carrier fleet while hitting the Cruisers during their search operations would not send one stike against this TF

Because we can only micro-control so much of this magnificent game.  There is ALWAYS a random dice roll factor involved in almost every action.  I wouldn't have it any other way.  [;)]

I have few SCTFs at Miri, and Japan has there at least 3 TFs all the time, but my ships seems to not engage them. Even during bombardment. However, just 2 separate xAKs entered Miri hex, and both were successfully attacked by my ships, so it seems there is some error in TFs present in friendly port.

Hmmmm, so many random dice rolls went against me then , 10 bomber groups didn't fly against a spotted enemy TF and my battlefleet didn't engage the enemy. LOL
