How do I capture a .jpg screen shot to embed in a post?

Redmarkus5 -> RE: Screen shot (2/26/2011 11:05:31 PM)

1. Press the Print Screen key on your key board.

2. Open a graphics program and paste.

3. Crop as you wish.

4. Save (resize or reduce image quality to keep it under 500kb).

5. Click the orange Post Reply button - don't use fast reply.

6. Click the Upload Image hyperlink below the message area. Also select the Embed Image in Post box.

7. Click submit and wait for the screen to refresh.

Hi!
I have downloaded the program Screenhunter.
Its free in one version. You can save in jpg. form if wanted.
You save direct to ex. your desktop.
You can save choosen part of the screen or fullscreen.
Just press F6 when suitable.
Very simple.

Better screenshot editing programs are here http://witewiki.com/index.php/Extras

They allow you to just press PRINT SCREEN in game and save to a folder

They are good for snapshotting a GC for later viewing

No cut and paste save rubbish

SNAG IT is probably the best, its a free months trial

with the editor you can add the funky arrows which you see in AAR's

IIRC it cost $60,£30 for unlocked version
