Am playing the full campaign with 1.03 as SU.

Was trying to assign some of the IL-4 heavy bombers near Smolensk, part of 3 BAK Air Command, to convert to night missions and drop supply to partisan units.

Problem is, I made the assignments in the morning, saved the game with Slitherine, and on the next load all the planes were gone. Zero IL-4s. Are they in the National Reserve? No clue. In fact, ALL of 3 BAK Air Command's planes, on three airfields, are all gone.

I understand the game moves planes and swaps models during the logistics phases, but it should not be happening between loads and saves. Right?

Totally at a loss here.

I suspect that game can disband those Corps HQs. What are your game attributes on the server?

Can you post it in the tech support. Thanks.

Uhh, I'll have to get back to you. Perhaps my game host/opponent can clarify.

For clarity, the Air Group HQ, and the airfields, are still in place. No counters got disbanded, it's just all the attached planes on the air bases are gone. Zero.

Now that I mention it, many airfields that started with planes are empty. For example, all of the airfields near Leningrad, of the Northern Air Command, none of them have a single plane. Not one. Ditto for most in the Ukraine. Not all were destroyed by enemy airfield attacks, or were even bombed. They are just MIA.

This has to be a Slitherine issue, I think. I started a local 1941 campaign as a test, and simply cycled through the first two turns, and the planes all seem to be more or less in place. (My PBEM is only on turn 2). Something is happening with the saved games.
