Combining Soviet Rifle Brigades (Full Version)

According to the manual:
"Rifle Division (22 June 41): Two or more rifle brigades can buildup into a rifle division. Note
that Soviet rifle divisions may not breakdown into brigades. Naval brigades cannot buildup into
divisions. See below for buildup of airborne brigades."

And yet I can't combine these two brigades.
What am I missing?

And while we're talking about brigades, isn't it a little weird that these two brigades are both the 312th Brigade?!? [:D]

It was changed. Look at the patch readme.

The manual should be updated, too. For new players this game is complicated enough and it's bad if they can't even count on the manual. I mean, we don't talk about a printed manual here, it's just a PDF file. Not every tweak needs to get there, but rule changes (such like this) should get into the manual at once and the updated manual pdf should be part of the patch.

Nope. *LOL*
If you have access to the server-games, it's the 41-45 GC, mikemcmann(Axis) vs CheerfullyInsane(SU), turn 18 (or 19...Can't remember)
But it's not a hoax. Just finished my turn, so I can't access the game otherwise I could supply you with Commanders Report stating two brigades both called the 312th.
I don't think it matters, I wouldn't even have noticed if I hadn't been trying to combine brigades in that neighbourhood.
Just looks a little odd. [:D]

I am doing it... I posted info about updated manual about a week ago in main forum...

The Sovs had a few moments where they used duplicate unit numbers; that's what happens when you create hordes and the office workers don't have their morning coffee.
