In case this happens to anyone else, the problem is simply that older computers with TOAW 3.4 can't handle scenarios like CFNA. It searches the whole map looking for a place to put a ship. It first looks in each hex to see if it's a sea hex, then looks for the nearest enemy unit. In CFNA, this can be pretty far away. On a fast machine, it can take 5 minutes, and on a slow machine, it can apparently take over 8 hours. I'm looking into speeding it up for 3.5. Ralph
