Ossian -> First PBEM turn information screen problem? (3/25/2011 8:42:48 PM)

Evening all,

I've just started giving my orders in an Allied scenario 1 PBEM and I've just noticed I can't access any of the information screens relating to reinforcement or withdrawal schedules. The relevant text is there but no icons to open the screens. This is for ships, air units and ground units: all of them.

As this is my first ever PBEM I'm fairly unsure of how things normally are so for all I know this is something standard and I'll be able to access those screens from the next turn on. If I start a scen 1 AI campaign they work fine.

My partner and I are both running the beta patch that was released in December (1.0.6.1108c) and using the following settings:

FOW: On
Adv Weather: On
Allied Dmg Control: On
PDU: ON
Historical 1st Turn: Off
Dec 7th Surprise: On
Allied Reliable Torps: Off
Realistic RD: On
No Unit Withdrawals: Off
Variable Reinforcements +/-15 days
Expansion at start: Off
Auto Upgrade: Off
1 Day turns

Obviously I don't want to go through the work of giving orders for the dreaded first turn if it's a bug or compatibility issue and I can imagine not being able to see withdrawals in particular being a major problem as time goes on.

I'm sure this post is dripping with Noob-juice (lol, I may rephrase that..) but is this the way it's supposed to be or do I have a problem here? I've been looking through this section but haven't found anything reported.

I've sent a PM to my partner to make double sure that we are using the same patch and settings but haven't heard back from him yet.

They are not available until the second turn.

Oh thank the Lord for that! I was dreading having to get him to redo his first turn! Everything's fine. Oh well, back to the DREADED FIRST TURN...

Thanks Nomad.
