HauptmannJake -> Winter camo - need help! (9/21/2002 5:02:41 PM)

Hey!

I am going to give some Soviet tank shp-icons a new winter camo look but I have some problems doing this. The icons will be used in a scenario in the future.

Does anyone know which of the Iconxxx.shp file includes Soviet BT-7 and M-10 Wolwerine? I have already edited T-34 and KV-1.

I cheked many files using Shped (Icon000-130 and random rest of the files) but I didn't find them. Can anyone help me?? I don't have time to check them all.

It would be nice to share the files when ready.
Thanks in advance.

Hello

To find a specific icon check the 'icon data list' files in the shp folder...those two numbers at the beginning of the each line will tell you what icon file to use. The numbers for BT-7 are 20906 and 20909 which translates to icon0209.shp file and images 6 and 9 within that file. Wolverine resides in the icon0226.shp file and again pics 6 and 9.

I'm sure Warhorse will correct me if I misinterpreted :)

Well, I'm here to help!:D They do reside in icon0209.shp, images 8, and 11!! Thanks for the attempt to explain Yki, the icon data list is very confusing to look at!!:D You must just add two, to the number there to see the correct image with shpedit, now you know how interesting my job and Nick Papps jobs were to do the icons!! I find if yo open the file (icondatalist) with wordpad, it is much easier to find a unit, with the 'find' function.

Ah, I forgot that 'add 2' part. But then, it's been some time since you tried to explain these things to me.

Don't feel bad, I have to remind myself of this sometimes!!:D

Thanks to you both, Warhorse and Voriax!:)
I'll continue editing.
