Chromius -> Pinned Supplement on Rule/Manual Changes? (4/2/2011 10:28:57 PM)

Can we please get a pinned manual supplement that highlights all the current rule changes and updated manual errata for the current release version? I am not talking about patch notes.

Current for 1.03 and updated when 1.04 is released. Or started with 1.04

For my money, I'd expect that all game changes would be reflected in the documentation with an updated manual included in each patch.

I would much rather have a living manual than wade through an outdated pdf and any number of addendum files.

+1, how is the updated manual coming? the cumulative changes are getting pretty significant at this point...

I seriously doubt that you are going to get an updated manual included in each patch. NO software developer does that.

That would be a great idea for sure, just doubt anyone will ever do it... The best manual you can prob ever have will be the one you trim down yourself based on experience and notes my guess. Unless of course someone in like a year or so after the intial patches and stuff writes the "Ultimate Guide for WitE" which means they have an insane amount of free time or money...lol!

I strongly support that. Most wargame designer does that.

Let's not forget that NO software developer charges $80 for a single downloadable game. (Or at least very few)

For the money I've invested, I'd expect that any changes in the core game would most definitely be reflected in the documentation - especially for the level of game we are talking about here.
