John <S> [8D] OK.. I think I might be able to help. When you are building a mission and click on the Primary Target the game will automatically build a Flight Path from the closest Rally Point area to that target. That locks you into only assests that can actually form up and Rally at the initial Waypoint. What you can do is move the way points from the Med region back up to England. This will open up your assets of BC in England. Providing you have some that have the operational range to fly from their base to the Rally Point then on to the target and back again. I am at work at my lunch break so I dont have access to the game so I can make a screenshot to work with so please bare with me as I try to verbally talk through the "How" to move the way points where you want. When a mission is initially built you will have a red line with red waypoings and a white line with white waypoints and the initial waypoint or Rally point as well as the final or Target waypoint will be white as well. The white line represents you flight path to the target and the red represents your flight path back to base from the target. The game, as I said earlier, will automatically choose the shortest flight path for you. Early on you are very limited to where you can launch from for the most part so you dont have ethis delima. What you need to do is one by one click on each waypoint and drag them to the position that creats a flight path from the target to the Rally Point you want to use. Then ckeck the AC that are available to be assigned to this mission. If you adjust your flight path to put your Rally Point in the Channel this will open up BC assets to be assigned to your mission. Note that as you move the waypoints closest to the initial waypoint that that will cause the initial waypoint to move. Keep moving your waypoints until you get the initial waypoint where you want. You can also use this technique to improve what assets you can assign to particular missions. For example, check out the "Range" column of all available AC to be assigned to a mission. This is the distance that the AC must fly from their base to get to the Rally Point you have set. The higher this value is the more fuel is used to get to that point and the less you have avaliable to use for you flight to and from the target. This is very important for Fighter Escort. Experimenting with this technique will allow you to get more overall operational range out of your missions by limiting the flight time just to get to the mission start point. I would recommend you experiment with this feature as it will IMHO, help you reach out a lot farther with better supported and more effective missions. Regardless of weather you are building a BC Night Bombing mission or a Daylight Strategic Bombing mission. Hope this helps. Regards, KayBay [8D]
