I know I can look in the game, but I'd really like to have this to put either as a print out or in a spreadsheet. Any way of doing this folks?

Roger

Editor possibly? Or Tracker?

Both will give you the data sure, but can't see a way of getting it exported...

In tracker set up the view and filters you want then go to file and select export to CSV, select the data to export, namely the subject you are looking at, make sure the "Use filter in XXXX panel" to ensure you keep your view and filters. Select an output file name in .csv. Click on Export and then Close. Go to the directory where you have tracker installed and you will have a .csv file of the name you selected there. Open it with your favorite data viewing software (I use Excel) and then sort, format, print, etc. to your liking.

Since the very first day I bought WitP (august 2004) I decided my forces would be on an excel file.

These many ships (except the APs, AKs and TKs) are organized... Let's say in San Francisco I have a TF with 2 MSWs (MSW missions that is). This is noted on the excel. I do that for every TF (surface, CV TFs, etc. etc.). The good thing? I can tell you ALL the ships that are REALLY free to assign to other theaters or missions.

I do the same with land forces. So i.e. I know there are 3 Bns in Burma that could be sent elsewhere, etc.

Extra job? Indeed. But we are supposed to do the job done by thousands of people during the war [8D] Above all, I don't like chaos.

Yep...csv extract to excel or access from tracker is very easy. Advise if you trip and we can give you step by step instructions.
