From may 5-14th 1942 i decided to send a TF with the yorktown and Enterprise to float around Moresby as i knew that was close to the historical Coral sea battle date.
Got Extremely lucky sunk the Junyo, Shokaku, and the Akagi with no losses to my TF except for like 80% of my planes, and there is still a single Carrier TF within 5 hexes of me. I currently have like 19 SBD's and TBD's together and like 30 fighters.
Im gunna try and get this 4th carrier and afterwards do i have to return to PH to get plane replacements or can i dock at Brisbane or Sydney and stay there a while and get plane replacements?

You can get them at any major port (level seven I think) that has supply. Or offload them at a smaller base that has plenty of supply and they will take more planes.

Airframe replacements for carrier groups is basically the same process as for LBA. What is very different is that CVs can only replenish their air sorties and torpedo sorties from a level 6 or 7 port respectively. A CV which has it's airgroups fully equipped but with no sorties left is just a target, not a threat, for the enemy.

So since Sydney is a 9 port,,i can park the TF there and it will eventually take on reinforcements on the planes?
Wowo must gunna take a long time im at 50 planes total down from 180 or so.

Why do you say that?

Your carrier air units are not that large. Even a squadron which has not a single plane left will only take 2 replacement intakes at most to be fully requipped. In most instances one intake should suffice.

Of course if your pools are close to empty, that is another matter and totally unrelated to the OP.

I was asking if i can get carrier plane reinforcements in sydney,,2 carriers 90 planes each had 180 planes key word had,,only have 50 planes total now due to some action,,dont want to cruise to PH,, kinda need these carriers at sea, as my other 3 carriers are in PH undergoing 30+ days of repair because i let them run outa fuel and that put some serious damage on em.

so your telling me to replace all my planes on that TF it wont take long??

You can only get 12 planes per week per air group.

If you have the airframes in the pools, the answer is yes, it doesn't take that long to fully reequip your squadrons. Two intakes maximum will suffice but some of your squadrons will only need one intake.

That's up to 12 each week, for each individual squadron on each carrier. Most US CV's have 4 squadrons in '42, so you can draw up to 12 fighters, 2x12 dive bombers, and 12 torpedo bombers each week. Assuming you have enough planes in your pools and have enough supply at Sydney.

Yea sydney is well stocked up and i have 5 squadrons on each carrier,,threw on an extra fighter squadron on each one
