Scenario crasch (Full Version)

Hi all gamers !!

I installed SPWAW 7.1 and played the scenario The Last and Teutonic night and the scenario crasched in turn 9 !!!!
I was thrown back to the start meny (the one befor you enter the game).
What shall I do to fix this ???
I had ver 6 before but I uninstalled that before the installation of 7.1.
Please help me !!!

Joki: This reply won't fix your problem, but it will let you know you are not alone. This problem happened to me at the same place. Three different times, it seems that due to OOB changes from 6.x to 7.1 that something caused this scenario to be incompatible with 7.1. I doubt that it will be corrected at this stage of the game. Sorry I couldn't give you better news. Most of the others I've tried play very good with a few minor exceptions that I'm sure you can live with. This was the worse one that I ran across so far. This scenario has a known problem but as chief stated it's due to it being created on an older version of SPWAW with different OOB's. The creator has promised to revisit and update in the future. One trick that sometimes works is, open the editor, load the scenario, select purchase units then select done and then save the scenario in the same place that it was loaded from. This sometimes works in reassociating the new OOB's to the older scenario. No promises.

Now I know what the problem is.
Hopefully there will be a solution in the future.

Joki: I wouldn't hold my breath for an update on that scenario. All the scenarios were done by volunteers and they may not have the time or inclination to update these old ones. (My opinion only)
May I suggest that if you still have version 6.x that you play it on that version, I do believe it will work there. Good Luck...:) :cool:

No , it didnīt work in v 6.1. I got the advise to upgrade to v 7.1 but you know the result.... :)

Thanks anyway !! It will not destroy my day. There are other scenarios.

Joki: with possibly one other exception all the scenarios I've personally played under 7.1 (pre-canned with SPWAW) all worked good. I've played ~75% of these. So you'll do all right. Have Fun:D :D :) :cool:
