jive1 -> Victory score - quick question (10/4/2002 6:07:01 PM)

Can anyone tell me what makes up the final points total?
Is it just bases held and ships sunk?

Do enemy aircraft or troop losses score points?
Thanks, Chris

jive1,
The final points tally is derived by adding up the individual tally's for friendly bases, aircraft shot down, army unit point losses and ship point losses. Now if you actually add up all of these subtotals you probably won't come up with the final score showing, you'll come up a bit short. The difference is the points for enemy ships sunk but not displayed, if a enemy ship is sunk but does show up in your list. So you can get a feel for how much shipping has been lost but not reported by determining the difference between points shown as the final point tally, and the total of the individual subtotals. If there's a big difference then it's likely you've sunk some big ships that aren't showing and if it's small then it's probably just some low value ships not reported as sunk. Hope this helps.:D
