Houtje -> replacements (5/22/2011 11:20:55 PM)

Maybe I'm overlooking sth., but how is one able to replace losses during a campaign? I've played several battles in a random campaign, and some of my core units have suffered losses. On the overview in between battles, some of these units are noted for having 'replacements available: 1', but the 'Replace' button is greyed out. Is this because you need points, too, to make actual replacements?
Thank,
Houtje

that is correct. You need points as well. It might be possible to "unpurchase" some non-core units to get there points depending on the scenario. Otherwise you need to wait until you have excess points

How do you get these points?

I have had 2 victories but still have no points in my campagin?
Also i just have only core units. No non-core units have been assigned.

You may not get any for a while. You can adjust this using the difficulty settings if I recall.

Thanks

For a better idea of how it all works, take a look at the Random B and C document.

I suggest that when you first play random campaigns, use the easy mode button and Maximum replacements.

Ah the Random Battle and Campaign Generator Addendum.
I missed that one when reading manual.

OK, I give up where is that exactly? I can't find it anywhere...maybe I'm missing something.

You're missing all the letters that I was too lazy to type. [;)]
