Can you please check this?

It's Turn 77. I am Axis. I have taken Baku in Turn 76 and have occupied the city. The defenders retreated. They have no valid supply line. However, they are not showing as out of supply. It's not just a display bug: having just attacked them and failed to get anywhere, they are clearly 'in supply'. By contrast defenders in Makachkala are all out of supply. Screen shot attached.

Since I am losing badly *grin* and want to get the hell out of there, can someone help? PPPPPLEASE ;).

Hmmm, Machachkala is a port, so unless you have taken Astrachan and the other northern ports, they should be in supply there.

There is no sea supply in the Caspian as far as I am aware. But, in fact, I do still have Astrakhan (just)... there's a horde of Russians descending down through the vast wilderness and I need to get outta there. I just want that Sov unit in Baku knocked out so he has to come all the way down to take it again.

Oh, I assumed there was. A bit strange otherwise, the Soviets had considerable shipping capability in the Caspian, even a Caspian Naval flotilla.

Actually you might be right. Since I took Astrakhan early on, it's not been an issue. But, still, Baku is now gone so the issue remains...why are his defenders in supply :) (Not even beachhead ...full supply).

AND Guriev itself can be supplied via off-map Caspian ports.

It appears that supplies are still traced to the nearest hexes from Baku even if it was captured. Fixed.
