dazoline II -> Unit XML Attribute (6/6/2011 7:43:40 PM)

I'm looking at trying to reduce the prevalence of certain units being included in a battle. Namely the Katyusha first turn nuke I seem to get in June 1941.

What do the attributes medprev and stddev control in the armoredunit tag?

Thanks.

medprev is the Median Prevalence, so it's basically the peak of the prevalence curve and it represents the percentage of the unit type that the current unit represents at that peak. So if the medprev for a T-34 M1942 were 50%, it would mean that at the peak of its curve, there would be a 50% chance that any given tank platoon generated for the Soviet side would have T-34 M1942s.

stddev is the Standard Deviation in months, it basically allows you to adjust the curve and expand or contract how long the peak is or how quickly it declines.

Also, just FYI we are planning to reduce the prevalence of the heavy artillery and rockets in the first update as well.

Thanks,
I doubt I will release a mod for this, just wanted it for my own play style.
