Hi guys. I just bought this, my first wargame ever. Needless to say I am lost. I found a great tutorial in the war room that I am starting on shortly. I was wondering if it is legal to print the manuals that come with WiTE. I was hoping a place like Officemax would do it for a reasonable price. Any Suggestions?

Yes it is legal to print out the manual as long as you own the game. OfficeMax or FedEx Office are good places to start. For a while at least, Matrix had the manual printing option as a service.

Just printed the 246 pg operational boot camp at OfficeMax for 20 bucks. I am just now starting it.

If you are interested I have a printed copy of the manual, black and white, bound that I would be happy to send you for the cost of shipping. I accidentally got a second copy printed and it is just sitting around. Send me an E-mail if your interested.

I learned tons of info from the wiki site when starting out....

Reading the manual is a must, but note that many things have changed in various patches, and other things weren't documented at all, so don't treat it as gospel.

Johnlax -> RE: Manual Printing (6/7/2011 2:41:55 PM)

how many pages r we talking about in the manual??? 300?

Scook_99 -> RE: Manual Printing (6/8/2011 2:18:54 AM)

346 pages right now. I would wait to print it though, and see if the rewrite is going to occur will all the changes. You can find the manual in the WitE directory, it is a PDF file. I have it on my Kindle and keep it open when I play. I am tempted to make charts of city industry, etc. once this patch goes live.

Scook thanks for reply is there re-write in the wind or a major patch out there???

Joel Billings -> RE: Manual Printing (6/8/2011 10:42:19 PM)

Yes, there is work underway to provide an updated manual with rule changes and new features incorporated into them. The first will be out next week, but it won't have all the new rules incorporated in yet. But we do eventually hope to catch up and provide a living document. It's a US Letter sized PDF file.
