Hello Everyone,

A number of months ago I captured Ploestsi depriving the Germans of Rumanian oil.
But their units still seem very strong and their aircraft are still flying.
What are the effects on Germany of losing Rumanian oil?

Matthew

They do have some other oil sources I think, but they were likely going off their stock piles. After an extended period of time, they will feel it.

By the time the Germans lose the Romanian Oil Fields, it's likely not their biggest problem anyway.

A bigger problem by then is the loss of Romania, and probably that the Soviets are invading Poland!

Yes, that is what Oleg is doing to me. April 44 and the Russians are heading into Poland.

The Germans have their synthetic oil factories and should run a small surplus in oil and fuel from the start of the war. The synthetic fuel manufacture rate is too low to sustain the Axis but they will have significant stocks to run down - and their supply lines are much shorter than they used to be.
