No gold release date announced yet, so I'm speculating that it will be mid to late July at the earliest. That is actually good news for me, since I will be able to do more outdoor activities before this game consumes all my waking time. [:)]

ccsdc83 -> RE: Looks like it won't be 6/15 (6/12/2011 7:26:49 PM)

At least we know they are almost finished though and not just "In Development".

HansHafen -> RE: Looks like it won't be 6/15 (6/12/2011 10:29:52 PM)

Yes, I'm sad too. But, they seem to be very close so I will not cry yet!

TR -> RE: Looks like it won't be 6/15 (6/13/2011 12:47:03 AM)

*@IT happens! When it is released I'm sure it will be worth waiting for.

Oh, it is worth the wait. I have been beta testing the game for a while and it has pulled me away from WITE. Several gaming sessions have kept me up all night, just like PG in the 90's.

IainMcNeil -> RE: Looks like it won't be 6/15 (6/13/2011 9:25:03 AM)

Sorry guys - still polishing at the moment. On the bright side the beta feedback is amazing so we think you'll like what you see!

Josh -> RE: Looks like it won't be 6/15 (6/13/2011 2:11:20 PM)

"...and it has pulled me away from WITE..."

LOL, now I wouldn't mention that in the WitE forum [:)]

Then again, maybe you should hehe. Might give them a break from facing another Russian carpet defense. [:D]

Lord Zimoa -> RE: Looks like it won't be 6/15 (6/13/2011 3:38:58 PM)

Panzer Corps RC1 tested and received very well. Some more polish and we are Gold, release date set on 07/07/2011, well on the product page! Will we make it...? LOL

parusski -> RE: Looks like it won't be 6/15 (6/13/2011 3:51:42 PM)

Yeah, I love WitE but it can become a grind-just like the real war.

Panzer Corps is pretty darned polished and huge fun.

HansHafen -> RE: Looks like it won't be 6/15 (6/13/2011 4:49:22 PM)

Sweet! Can't wait. Thanks guys!

ccsdc83 -> RE: Looks like it won't be 6/15 (6/14/2011 2:47:54 AM)

Are the testers using netbooks to run the beta currently?

I hope my Acer can with it's meager specs:

Intel Atom N450
1GB Ram

This is my on the go machine would be great to play it at work and on trips. I hope the resolution scales to the game OK...right now PGF isn't exactly right, but it works.

phcas -> RE: Looks like it won't be 6/15 (6/14/2011 3:35:03 AM)

I can see 07/07/2011 on the site now. 2nd delay. Will we welcome the game under the Christmastree?

Greetings Caspar

bretg80 -> RE: Looks like it won't be 6/15 (6/14/2011 3:38:31 AM)

Yeah, looks like 7/7, but I'm not holding my breath. Glad to hear the game is looking good. It'll be ready by the end of summer more than likely, which is when I'll be ready :-)

Ken7 -> RE: Looks like it won't be 6/15 (6/14/2011 1:41:14 PM)

"Panzer Corp Invades stores in early 2011" . Who the heck made that quote? I didnt realize that July was considered "early 2011.

ccsdc83 -> RE: Looks like it won't be 6/15 (6/14/2011 1:54:34 PM)

Well they aren't posting anything to Facebook or replying today on here so perhaps they are busy slaving away to get the game ready for you[8D]
Video games these days are always delayed and pushed back so when you have it available to buy you know it's released.

Lord Zimoa -> RE: Looks like it won't be 6/15 (6/14/2011 3:58:23 PM)

Hi guys, the main reason we postpone a game is:

We are not happy enough with the game, or decide to add more cool features, or to make sure the game is rock solid and contains as few bugs as possible, or to add more polish, or listen to feedback and do some changes or add new ideas based on Beta testing!

So upon release it is the best game we can deliver at that point in time. The game is now in publishing mode and will soon be upon you. We are now confident you will enjoy it and get some quality for you hard earned money.

You had to wait maybe 10 weeks longer than initially planned and we understand this is unfortunate and for some annoying, therefore our apologies, but it was for the good of the game and that is what counts in the end!

Cheers,

Tim

I have not tried the game on anything but my desktop gaming rig. I will install it on my Acer netbook later today or tomorrow and post the results.

ccsdc83 -> RE: Looks like it won't be 6/15 (6/14/2011 6:40:05 PM)

Much appreciated Parusski looking forward to the results. I hope the screen sizes up OK I know with these netbooks things will be off sometimes without a fix available.

Lord Zimoa -> RE: Looks like it won't be 6/15 (6/14/2011 7:04:43 PM)

PzC runs fine from 600 pixel screen onwards to wide screen big monitors.

Obsolete -> RE: Looks like it won't be 6/15 (6/15/2011 6:17:17 AM)

I like it when games are delayed. I so do hate unpolished binaries.

Sorry it took so long to install PC on my netbook.

Here is the system I played on today:
Acerone
Intel Atom(WEAK)1.67 Gz
1 GB ram
Windows 7 Premium
250 MB video ram-VERY WEAK
Resolution-1024 x 600 (32bit)

Panzer Corps ran amazingly well on this system. There was no lag, the map scrolled smoothly and the animations worked just fine. The AI did take a tad longer to do it's thing, but not by much.

ccsdc83 -> RE: Looks like it won't be 6/15 (6/17/2011 2:00:54 AM)

Thanks Parusski for checking up on it.

Scook_99 -> RE: Looks like it won't be 6/15 (6/17/2011 5:08:27 AM)

I can't wait. I clicked on the buy link on the 15th and was disappointed I couldn't buy it. But, keep polishing, I like people who put out polished products. And, I can use a break from War in the East also!

1G of ram in Windows 7?

elephantasy -> RE: Looks like it won't be 6/15 (6/17/2011 6:31:07 PM)

I can't wait for this game even though I know it's going to rock when it comes out. [:D]
I just wish the guys at Slitherine offered a pre-order and gave everyone that pre-ordered a prelease copy of the game.

parusski -> RE: Looks like it won't be 6/15 (6/17/2011 7:11:01 PM)

I know that is hard to believe, but Windows 7 Premium runs okay, but only because I have a minimum of services and no other programs running. Yesterday I played 1939-1945 from Poland to my conquest of England(several hours) and all was smooth.
