What is the fastest way to rase morale of a Squadron? Will withdrawing them for 60 days work the best?

CaptBeefheart -> RE: Squadron Morale (6/23/2011 4:26:18 AM)

That seems excessive. Put them on stand down for a few days.

Cheers,
CC

I look for a more inspirational leader.

I have them on CAP but not fighting is going on. How about assigning some of the squadron to rest? Will that work?

Smeulders -> RE: Squadron Morale (6/23/2011 8:51:40 AM)

What percentage CAP ?

crsutton -> RE: Squadron Morale (6/23/2011 3:03:30 PM)

Rest. It should not take more than a week for the worst off unit. I really cant think of any reason to withdraw a unit other than those that are required.

If you have enough squadrons rotate them. Say from Port Morseby to a base in Northeastern Australia.

Thanks for the replies. Relocation and Rest will be ordered [:)]

I am actually wondering if succesfull combat will rise morale...

It seems actually to work for Japanese fighters. But what about bombers?

Oh, in WITP bomber units sometimes tended to lose morale, because there was not enough Aviation Support in base. You could check this also.

And unrepaired damage to airfield also tends to lower morale.
