commissarhanish_MatrixForum -> Questions (7/7/2011 5:00:48 PM)

I have three questions that the manual doesn't seem to have an answer for.

#1. Why am I unable to withdraw certain air units when they come up for withdrawal on the info screen? (The withdraw option on the unit screen is not highlighted)

#2. Why am I unable to draw aircraft from the replacement pool even when I have the unit in an base with adequate supply and support?

#3. What would you suggest is the best reaction range for CV TF's and Surface TF's?

Thanks.

1) Some units can only be disbanded. No way around it, except swapping out the good pilots.

2) The unit may have already received replacements that week (or was it 5 days, not sure). Anyways, you can only pull replacement AC every couple of days.

3) Hard to answer, CVs I usually let at 0 to prevent that they move somewhere I donīt want em to, the react anyways sometimes. SAGs, well this depends on the
mission, the potential opposition, the surrounding area and the distance of the homebase, basically every possible setting from 0-6.

Hover the mouse cursor over the replacement text and it will provide a pop up that states how many days delay you have till you can draw replacements at that base again.

Really? Learn something new every day about this game

on 3, its all very dependent on your situation. Set higher reaction ranges when you want to be aggressive, lower when you don't. I know, pretty much a non-answer [:(]
