Arditi -> "Tigers in the Mud" AAR (7/11/2011 1:54:50 AM)

First turn sent to Iron Knight. I have the Kaliphate. I have never played them before. They have the Guerilla that appears to be better than infantry at the higher levels. More expensive than infantry it appears. It will be fun to experiment with them. I declare war on Republic right away. Peace offers sent to both human players. I will post maps next turn.

7 nations total. One human player=nation. 4 AI nations. Turn three sent. All human players have allied and brisk tech trading takes place. Arditi attacks an AI nation on the first turn and takes a city on the third turn. Allan and I are land solvent with our nations while Iron Knight has a challenge with his nations divided into two. Allan appears to prepare for an invasion of an AI player.

Sadly The Empire has the luck to be the only divided country, so we have set out on a mission to unite our nation. While we bid our time to prepare our lines to the west (center) we have aided our allies against the French, and will hopefully return with some more experienced units.

Arditi attacks and takes another city through luck. My human ally Iron Knight declares war on the same nation. He keeps two large ddivisions with 80 infantry, in each, off my border. Security I think....hope. ;)

The AI nation we attack appears a bit backward in tech. This picture of their rural militia was taken from a prisoner. We hope the advance continues so..

Turn 6 to Iron Knight.
Arditi continues to drive on the AI capitol. We are on the outskirts now. Artillery brought up. The golden spots are desired locations. Two Raw resources and the capitol.

Allan drives further into the AI nation. He is close to their capitol now. My nation worries about conflict as my nations border is close by. Outlined in red and yellow. Will this remain a borderland for peace?

Two turns in a day. very satisfying! ...aahhhh.
The Capitol of the Republic falls. Allan takes a city from the AI. Iron Knight masses machineguns and some ant-arcraft in his detached land from the main nationlands.
The stopping line is denoted on the map. Yellow with black dots. I will let my ally take this AI country.

Arditi finishes off the Republic. I had a gun factory come on line last turn. Allan appears to be moving through the desert of the nation he is fighting. Iron Knight makes his nation into a "porcupine" with anti-aircraft, half-tracks, etc. Iron Knight builds a tank fctory. He wars with no one at the moment. Tech trading is brisk. Here are the nations and their acquisitions at the moment. Arditi is "Red". Allan is "white & green". Iron Knight is "blue". The unoccupied AI is in "yellow". The snow and rains come in. What should we do? What will we do? [;)]

Turn 12 to Iron Knight.  The Knight declares war on his AI neighbor.  Allan pushes on against his northern AI neighbor.  I make contact with two Peoples Republic cities.  I did a shaky attack on the AI capitol.  Diplomacy kicked around in secret.  Map as it stands now.
