There is somebody called John in the wifdiscussion list of yahoo, who told nme he has done it. I kind of remember he was australian. I will copy some of his comments: quote:
We decided last year to try it magnetised and are playing it this way for the first time at the moment. We expanded the European and Asia/Pacific maps so the hexes were about twice the size, printed them off and stuck them onto sheet metal. We mounted the metal onto the garage wall. Counters were printed off as stickers and stuck onto a magnet strip. The big downside to this method is that we don't have the back of the counters at the moment, which has made keeping track of Reserve units and year pools a bit of a harder task. We are looking into plastic squares with rare earth magnets embedded and putting the counter sheet stickers on those. Expensive, but split four ways not so bad for the game we all love. quote:
