The manual has a table of the maximum experience level a LCU may train to on page 187. For instance US Army troops show a '60'.

Has anybody ever trained to the numbers in these tables or is the real maximum level one below? It seems to me that all my LCUs on training stop one before the numbers of the table, even when training for a long period of time. In the case of US Army troops mentioned above thats a 59 for me. Never seen it reaching the numbers.

Any different experiences from you guys?

Can't believe I'm the only one who trains troops...

I have similar experience. New IJA units don't seem to train above 54.

Yes and my Chinese don't appear to move above 44 experience.

The last point might take a very long time but I have seen it. However, once you get them that far, there is no sense in waiting longer. Just put them in contact with the enemy and they will gain skill fast enough.

After five months set on combat, but inactive, in a well supplied, size 7 base; I have 3 out of 10 USA units at 60, the rest at 59 and holding.

Thank you all for the feedback.

It seems it is not worth waiting for the last point of experience and instead plan ahead for future targets to enjoy a 100% planning bonus when the time comes.
