Hi Michael,

I'm getting a crash when I click on a fighter group located at PH. Open the Allied side, go to Pearl. Click on the air group icon. Click on any of the Army air groups (I've tried one of the P-40 variants 3 times). The game crashes.

Something to do with the number of groups in the base.
I noticed when I ran the debug version, several of the air groups in the bottom base panel were missing (couldn't click on them then). But it didn't crash in the debug version.
I'll try to debug the release version.

Ha.
It only reserves space for 200 groups and there are 238 present. Preventive excercise in place.[;)]

Updated beta to stop CTD - just unzip into Beta directory.

I know it sounds silly, but:
with this version (I call it p7a) during the Entering Orders Phase the game suddenly started the execution on its own.
At first I thought I had hit the key (E) by accident, so I started the orders phase again. And again, in the middle of typing in orders the game started the execution.

I did the whole thing all over again with 1108p7, and everything is fine.

My system ist protected by Kaspersky Internet Security (fully updated), and I cannot find any viruses, key loggers or the like.

Odd.
Can you drop in a save, and I'll try it tomorrow.

Here is the Save BEFORE (done with 1108p7). Rename to PWS.
Game date is Nov 5, 1943 before orders were given.

Here is the Save AFTER the execution (which I did not initiate). Rename to PWS.

Now, here is what I did:

- loaded Save of Nov 5, 1943 (wpae005.pws - the save sent with the previous post)
- created a TF in San Francisco to transport Supplies to Sydney (TF144 - you can see that TF in Save006, attached here)
- then clicked Los Angeles to create a TF to transport oil to Sydney
- while trying to select a tanker the game started to execute - on its own
- I let the execution phase run through and
- saved (wpae006.pws - attached here)

Please note: Loading save005 with 1108p7 and entering the same orders as above does not initiate the auto-execution.
Odd, I agree.

EDIT: cleared typos
EDIT2: Looks like the creation of the TF in San Francisco (20 ships) is related to the event. When not creating that TF and going to Los Angeles directly (clicking on Los Angeles without creating the TF in SFO) nothing unusual happens.

I think I found it.

Thanks Michael!!! Leave it to me to find another limit bug. I get lazy playing the AI and let units stack up in major bases. :)

Thank you Michael.
I will repeat the tests with 7b and report back.

EDIT: Yes, it works.
Did the same sequence as in post#6 with the same save (basically repeating the test).
Thanks again.
