kirkgregerson -> Mud on t103? (9/7/2011 1:48:35 AM)
Does anybody know for sure (got that far) if turn 102 (5/27/43) and turn 103 (6/3/43?) are both mud. I'm certain t102 is mud, but I'm not 100% positive t103 is clear(rules say it should be). I suppose I will find out soon in my game. But would be nice to plan some what and use the hindsight of historical weather [:)]
* rules state even day turn from May 1 to June 19 is mud for non-random weather.

The dates are cued to the weeks in 1941 and do not fit the weeks of other years. I assume that the weather at the turn date, that is the date at the start of the turn, is the weather that applies. This is assumption though, as all my games thet went that far have been using random weather.
BTW Random weather is MUCH better than preplanned weather, which is utterly unrealistic and tends to benefit the Soviets.

I don't believe the rules differentiate between years with respect to the mud/clear weather between May 1 and June 19th.
Thus, if the rules are written correctly with odd turns from May 1 to June 19 as being clear. There will be two clear turns on turn 102(5/27/43) and turn 103(6/3/43) because these are both odd dates.
