Bylandt11 -> Interface covers most of the map (9/20/2011 4:45:38 PM)

There's something wrong with my interface: it's huge. In fact, it covers half of the map. I know from screenshots og the game on the net that this is not supposed to be the case.

Anything I can do about it? Because the game is unplayable as such.

Thanks for any help.

As no AGEOD SEPRUS officials haven't replied yet to you...

The GUI isn't fully scalable. I presume your sceen rsolution is very low. Higher resolutions enlarge the map and the other GUI elements. Unfortunately, on very low resolutions, these other elements are proportionnally larger.

Larger resolution is the only way to overcome this.

Thanks, Chilperic.

My laptop uses the 1920 x 1080 resolution. I think that's pretty high. But perhaps I should mention that the game messes with that resolution. When I quit the game, the resolution of my computer has changed to 1280 x 720. I have to manually reset it to the original resolution.

BTW, my system:
Toshiba Qosmio X500 quad core
Windows 7 64 bit
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460M (latest drivers installed)

In the folder

C:\Program Files (x86)\Revolution under Siege

There should be a file, AGESettings.exe

Run it, the the display tab, screen resolution, select use desktop resolution

Should be this way by default, did you modify it?

Thanks, Nikel.

I checked it, but it's already set at "use desktop resolution". I hadn't modified it.

But I fiddled around with the display settings some more and set the screen moede to "standard" instead of "full screen" and changed the window mode to "fixed resolution, borderless", which looks like full screen anyway.

It works perfectly now. Thank you!
