Rokkorfan -> Crash prior to 1945 USA (10/1/2011 1:31:36 AM)

Hi Guys,
I'm playing the 1939 campaign and havd just fought through Moscow with a decisive victory. The game gives me the usual screens, I get the briefing for the attack on USA but when I press the "Proceed" button the game goes to the "New Game Load Game etc." splashpage and freezes. I have to ctrl/alt/del to shut the game down.
I've tried twice with the same result so I believe I have some sort of bug.
Can you give me any suggestions?
