Jaro.
The germans installed on their tanks in the later war years ´43 - ´45 something called a "nahgerichswaffe" Most certainly misspelled on my hehalf. It was a 92 mm single use grenade launcer which flung out a anti personel (supposedly fragmentation) grenande. Its range was very short, but very potent.Usually set on the turret. The Nw92 has been modelled as a secondary weapon in at least earlyer versions of SP. I think it was in SPwwII module. I always liked to use it when the occasion presented itself.
This mention of your about the soviet tank, the hole in it and the grenade. I didnt get that! About the S mines. You mean Schu mines, or dis you mean "Bounching Betties". Bounching Betties would be better as a tank defence weapon. Either way, these babies would be a gem to the game, specially BB fitted on a tank. The BB would be a kind of ideal AP weapon to improvise as a tank defence mine. Besides AP mines, one of the reasons the nagant revolver was popular among (soviet)tankers besides its abundance was that it was supposed to be better suited for close quarter defence inside a tank (perhaps the only reason for putting a extra hole in a tank hull besides a hatch) because unlike a automatic with a sliding mantlet a revolver cylinder does not become a issue in a narrow space of a tank. But this nagant lecture is perhaps not the answer you were lookin for i terms of better tank defence agains infantry!
