The clock on the forums is now all jacked up. It reflects my local time, which is Z minus 8, but gives it as Zulu (as 0949Z). This is, obviously incorrect. How and why did this get changed? It was fine before, showing my current, actual time in a.m.-p.m. format. Now, it makes no sense whatever.

someone suggested as we are a military oriented bunch, to use a more military time/date format...in reconfiugring it I screwed the offset up... Z is the timezone identizier for 'ZULU' or GMT. should be fixed now!

Mine still shows the Z, even after logging out and back in. Probably a wonderful MSglitch that will make you re-boot the server.

Ok I Took the "Z" off and it should be showing correctly now and reference correctly to other local time zones... Sorry about that!:o

If it read 15:26 I could handle that. But can't handle 1526 But my preference is civilian style - 3:26 pm

24 hours in a day and I like to know exactly which one it is myself heheh. I say keep 24 hour time. Oh and the army isn't the only people that like it eh, in my house that was railroad time. Of course being "retired" I have only two times that count, daytime and nighttime (and they are easy to distinguish generally hehe).

Okay. UV version 2.0 isn't here yet. PW version 3.2 is a long way off. WITP won't be here until at least next summer, and maybe not until toward the end of the year. EiA is still just a gleam in daddy's eye. What can I bitch about in the meantime? TIME! Look, there ain't no "0629 PM." Let's revisit our primary school learning. When using the 12-hour a.m. and p.m. scheme, times are reported in accordance with the following example: 12:01 p.m. (note the colon and the fact that "post meridian" is in lower case with periods - the same applies to a.m.). One other thing: "Saturday 1201 PM 26 Oct 02" would be far closer to standard usage as "12:01 p.m. Saturday Oct. 26, 2002" in my book. Not to mention easier to read. Pedantically yours, P.
