You too can build your own BB. Battleship gun tubes from the USS New Jersey may be purchased from the US Gov't. Each weighs 3.36 million pounds and comes with its' own rail freight cradle. You have to ship it though. [:D]

I thought 14,000 tons more or less was a bit excessive for a barrel. The RFP is for 14ea barrels of 237,000 lbs each. Still pretty big, but one of these won't roll the ship over like Flipper.

Pavement Roller? One pass and your done.

Cut into 10' lengths, fill with explosive, put a laser guided nose and tail works on the thing and use it to blow up deep bunkers, hardened missile sites and the odd ant hill in the desert.

Leak info to North Korea that we are selling them to South Korea for their new Battleship.

Cut down a large redwood tree and fashion it into a stock for it and make a large deer rifle.

Bridge supports?

What else can they be used for......
