Enterprise -> request veterans change? (10/31/2011 9:10:40 PM)

recently upgraded to q9b from ~q7 and restarted using ironman japan AI instead of scen1

Request veteran window used to open to variable (any, reserve, TRACOM) tab based on the individual selection on each air group window.


Now it seems to open at the reserve tab when reserve or any is selected.
Was there a reason for this change, and/or can the change be reversed?

I kinda prefer the new opening.  Saves me at least two clicks.  When request veteran, I am going to pull from reserve 99.999% of the time.

Generally as other players have mentioned, when selecting a 'veteran', almost all the time your going to pull someone from the Reserve or TRACOM pools.
The Group pool will be the default if you have 'Replacement' as the selected From.

before I drop this, I'll restate the "problem" as I see it for clarity.

There is a selection on the air group screen that controls which request veteran page is initially opened.
it used to work with this relationship:

any opened any
replacement opened group
reserve opened reserve
TRACOM opened TRACOM

which offerred great flexibility, including the ability for PaxMondo (and the majority) to do as they wish. Indeed, I use the reserve selection as well

the apparent change is only that now both the any and reserve selections open the reserve page.

You did not specifically mention the any selection in your response, though it may have been understood. I recognize that your previous response may still apply
