this is 8 month since we began this fight ( she, much than me) and we are really happy of this new step. (not the last, but at least it is a good thing)

And this can't be accepted....

sorry for this sad post, but i think the whole France is under shock tonight

No, it can't be accepted. Sadness, outrage, and solidarity. [:(]

Good morning - Tithe. [&o][&o][&o]

USSAmerica -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (1/8/2015 11:41:38 AM)

It is an official winter morning in NC! 11F degrees out at 0700, but fortunately for all the school kids at bus stops, the winds died down much earlier than predicted. I put on sweatpants instead of shorts to go to work this morning, which happens to be in my home upstairs office. [8D]

alaviner -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (1/8/2015 12:20:02 PM)

1F!! degrees Tithe[&o][&o] Had to load the wood boiler an extra time last night. but my wife stayed a toasty 70F [8D]

Schanilec -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (1/8/2015 1:04:14 PM)

Nuclear (warhead) degradation warming the place up?

Mundy -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (1/8/2015 5:16:19 PM)

Wouldn't surprise me.

When you leave the base, there's a sign showing how many days since the last DUI, and which unit the offender was with.  Apparently it never gets over 10.

Well, there's nothing there that's incorrect in terms of our 'footprint' for protein production. If we REALLY-o TRULY-o cared THAT much about being the most efficient protein producers possible, then we'd all better start eating more maggots.

I know what I'm getting you for Christmas next year, my Argletonian colleague. [:D]

witpqs -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (1/9/2015 1:54:48 AM)

"Grubnola"! [:D]

What do you take me for-some kind of cheapo? No, dude, I was going to give you the 'gift that keeps on giving'-the self-sustaining maggot factory.

Erm...'factory farming' has such a negative connotation these days. Let's just call it 'intensive maggot farming'. Ah, yes. Much better! [8D]

Do they ship internationally? 'Cuz I know what a certain Englishman named after a British WWII battleship needs for his household. [:D]

Oh, yes, maggots come in by air mail. The hardware I'm not sure about.

That picture of Grubnola cracks me up. I can just see people in heath food or health food-ish stores picking that up without knowing what's in it! [:D]

witpqs -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (1/9/2015 3:00:44 PM)

That's a solid argument for food labelling! Should contain a big red label, "Warning: contains lark's vomit" on the front. [tip of the hat to MP for that one].

nashvillen -> RE: THE THREAD!!! (1/9/2015 3:40:50 PM)

Grubnola, sorry not for me, give me Gagh, at least it is served live! [;)]
