Baleur -> Planet damage texture & system influence tweak! (11/25/2011 6:12:23 PM)

I always found the planet bombarded/damaged overlay to look odd, just a few photoshop-cloud filters over the planet. So i made my own! Tried to make it resemble heavy impact craters and such instead. I had ideas about cracks, but i felt craters would be more "realistic" in terms of being bombarded from orbit with nukes and god knows what else [:)] Enjoy! The vanilla one is 29x29, this one is 100x100 although it seems to not make much difference. One more noticeable difference however is that it is perfectly centered while the vanilla one was horribly offcenter. The game engine still seems to have occasional problems centering stuff, but at least it is a bit better and not a fault of the texture itself anymore. Enjoy 2x! [:)]
