I haven't previously given much notice to how partisans receive supply, but in my current game partisan units typically have 2-3000% ammo, but close to 0% supply. Is this working as intended? All that ammo is of little use if the partisans are starving to death. (1.50.42)

Never noticed that before, but checked a previous game and Yes the Partisans have no supply and eg 1600% ammo; as a % this is massively high but in real terms it is only 16 tons... and anything directly attached to Stavka is always poorly supplied... but Partisans having so Supplies...does it matter?

According to the manual 17.1.2 "Once a partisan unit is considered combat ready (based on morale, number of partisans and supplies), the partisan unit has a chance to attack unoccupied hexes containing rail lines both before the Axis supply segment as well as after the damaged rail line hex repair segment (4.2).", so it doesn't seem entirely unimportant.

Hello The partisans consuming supply and not really ammo. Therefore ammo accumulate with time whereas supply remains "low" depending how often you fly "supply" missions. Omat

Omat They fly automatically every turn. Granted, they don't fly to all partisan units every turn, but I'd expect at least some of them to be in something resembling full supply at least occasionally. Bringing them up to more than full supply (2-300%) manually is no problem, so I don't understand why the auto missions don't do it. I wonder what Stalin would say if he knew the partisans aren't using the ammo he so graciously grants them. [:-] [:D]
