Nalim27 -> The same leader forever? (11/28/2011 4:57:34 PM)

Hello,
I start playing with nice Leader - he have many positive traits. I even give my name to him because I think that he is players personalization. After some time he increased his attributes and be super leader.

But big surprise was that some voting happens and anther leader was elected. I must said very bad leader - he had 4 negative attributes and only one positive (not useful one - +10% for civilian ships).

So my question is it is possible to have the same leader whole game? All others leaders (lige governor, scientisc , ambassador etc.) stays indefinitely till some one do not kill them - so why not main leader?

Play a race like the insects who might have a sole queen or mod your race file and reduce the leader change to 0. Nromally a goverment always changes leaders.

Exceptions would be monarchy, despotism, and probably fuedal.

No despotism wil lchange by inner quarrels. Wouldn't be the first despot to die in a betrayal. A feudal system is also depending on their peers. If the Lord does not uphold the rights of his loyal peers hem ight get a "little" problem. Therefore all goverments are bound to change one day apart of the insectoid overmind.

by changing this attribute in the file, I'm assuming that if your leader dies, you won't get another?

To avoid that from happening you change the attribute to 0.1, the lowest setting, not 0.0. That
should do the trick for keeping the leader and still allow for a new one if disaster hits. [:)]
