The family crisis is resolved and turned out as well as could be expected, thank you for the good wishes on that.

Please don't worry on our account. There are more important things in life for us and we can easily wait. Your information is always welcome of course, but we all know it is information about a patch, not the patch itself you are working on, so there is absolutely no need for rushing.

... sadly, have no cool cargo bays / guardians to boast about, so I'll just post a boring question: Does the "next public beta" mean that version 1.707 will be moved into release stage, and you will then be working on 1.708 as beta, or does it mean that the current beta will be updated and that 1.706 is still the current release form? (I'm scared of betas and have not tried any since 2009 after being burnt hard by Stardock's handling of Elemental's beta process).
