Fideach -> Multiple Armies Characters (12/10/2011 7:42:40 AM)

I just had an instance where multiple armies invaded same colony.

Example: Empire A and B, who are not allies, are at war with Empires C.

Empire A invades Empire C's homeworld, lands troops. Empire B comes a few moments later, and lands troops as well.

Empire A wins invasion, I assume due to having more troops on the planet.

Issue is that I gained Empire B's Troop Generals after I won the invasion and we killed off all of the Empire C's characters and armies. Empire B's troops all disappeared, though it seemed there strength was counted as my own in the battle against Empire C's defending forces.

That shouldn't happen right?

Thanks for the report. This is fixed in the next update so that foreign characters (e.g. invading general of another empire) is not assigned to the winning invading empire when the colony is taken over.

What does happen to B's army once the planet falls to A? Do they stay and can be evacuated? Or are they automatically repatriated by freighters?

Far as I can tell, Empire B's armies are added to your strength, then disappear once you won. I'm going to guess whoever has the largest army is the one that wins over all.
