I will be picking this up as a Christmas present. What scenarios are included? On one screen shot I saw a Spanish Civil War scenario. Has anyone tried it?

Most probably you have screen from developers version of the game.

There is no Spanish Civil war scenario. One could be made with the upcoming editor, however.

Included are campaign games starting in every year of the war, some what if scenarios, such as Barbarossa South, and some smaller scenarios like DDay and Case White.

I hope additional scenarios may be eventually purchased as a DLC.

It the work concerning this scenario has been abandonned, would it be possible to get the used materials collected for it (oob, doc, etc, ) ? I would be interrested to create such scenario when editor will be more stabilized : the scenario would not be a "monster" scenario, but a short /medium strategic scenario using the spanish map as part of the great map (with nationalist and republican spains as only active countries).

It has been dropped long ago and even the map files have no longer any use
