HHI -> transfer of specific SU to division (German) (12/19/2011 3:09:41 PM) I have had this game from the very beginning and have never figured this out. Now, the 502nd Heavy Panzer Batallion has arrived. It was sent immediately to II Korps (dumb, but I think, historical, which was equally dumb). I tracked it down and transferred it to AGC and to 2nd Panzer Army and then to the correct Panzer Korps. I want this unit attached to Gross Deutchland Motorized Division. When you attempt to attach an SU to a particular Division, I can't determine the source of the units you can attach. How do I get this SU into a specific division?

ComradeP -> RE: transfer of specific SU to division (German) (12/19/2011 4:12:40 PM) You can't see the source/where the support unit is coming from, only a list of available support unit types. As long as the support unit is in an HQ between the unit and OKH/STAVKA, you can attach it. Otherwise, it needs to be moved to a HQ in the aforementioned chain.

HHI -> RE: transfer of specific SU to division (German) (12/19/2011 6:06:15 PM) That is how I thought it should work.  But there are all kinds of SU's in the corps to which the division is attached and I see none of them when I try to attach.  What am I missing

Joel Billings -> RE: transfer of specific SU to division (German) (12/19/2011 7:11:20 PM) Only certain types of SUs may be attached directly to combat units. I know artillery and construction can't.
